Winrock International

Lead program, strategy and finance model design for development of new funding streams in Africa collaboration with Winrock leadership and senior management. Created clear communications for highly complex ideas for diverse audiences. Major proposal development with providing the context, strategy, funding intelligence and technical advisory for a high profile USAID proposal for north Kenya for resilience and private sector development of livestock markets and value-add supply chains.

Renee participated in the strategic plan and global scale up strategy for Ashoka Fellows in a team of consultants from London, Vancouver, Singapore, and New York.


COSA The Committee on Sustainability Assessment

COSA was a unit of the United Nations until a few years ago when it became a non-profit. Founder and Executive Director Daniele Giovannucci is working with Renee to scale-up this fast growing international organization with program, organization, and fund development.

Board President Norman Rice and Executive Director Rosanna Sharpe worked with Renee Bourque to re-frame messages, redirect financial strategies, develop major funder meeting communication points and strategies, and articulate the five year expansion plan. Renee also wrote a grant proposal and strategy documents for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation resulting in a 1.1 million grant over two years.

KIT001  Kalispell Tribe

Conduct a community-wide feasibility study, gap analysis related to child victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Work with community partners to create a strategic plan and training program based on findings for intervention, treatment response and prevention strategies. This model will be reported to Congress through the US Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women to determine future funding for comprehensive coordinated community responses for Tribal children and youth.
